A series of kiwi Cakes & Bakes stamps are printed in New Zealand. The set includes 15 stamps with the image of sweets: cookies, biscuits, cakes and pies. The combination of pink and turquoise colors creates a friendly mood, in General, the composition looks like a cartoon. The nominal value of each stamp is 1.4 dollars, the size of the copy is 34,55x35 mm.

All the sweets depicted are related to New Zealand, and some have their own history. For example, "Churchill Slices", named after the British Prime Minister, have been found in new Zealand cookery books for seventy years. "Pavlova" - meringue cake, which was named after the ballerina Anna Pavlova. During a tour of New Zealand, the ballerina made a real furore, and they decided to name a cake in her honor, which became a traditional festive dessert. Anzac cookies with oatmeal and coconut are named after the Australian and new Zealand army corps formed during the First world war.

The stamps are already on sale at new Zealand post offices and can be purchased by June 30 next year if the print run is not sold out earlier. We are waiting for a new product in the "Philately" category.
