The insignia to the "Best Young Worker of the Railway of January" is another interesting lot of the Violiti website. A silver product of the same name was sold after 78 bids for $ 1,560. Such insignia are of great value to collectors, history connoisseurs and people studying faleristics. These are peculiar carriers of information about the social, political and economic condition of the country of those times.

The central part of the composition is decorated with an image of a worker. In one hand he holds a sickle and a hammer, in the second - a flag with the inscription "The best young worker of the January railway." In the foreground is a locomotive, in the background are smoking factories and plants. Framed insignia ears of wheat and a red star. On the back of the insignia is a screw mount, appears on the site.

According to the seller, the product was manufactured between 1918 and 1920. It was not restored and had no defects. As a material, as previously indicated, silver was used.

As a rule, on the emblems, badges, tokens and medals devoted to the railway subjects of the USSR, the history of the country's railways, examples of relevant equipment, achievements and development of transport were reflected.

One of the first items that relates to the railway faleristics of the same period is the sign of the railroad workers, which was designed to be worn on uniform. The description and rules published in 1905 indicated that it was a sign in the form of gilded anchors and an ax, intended "for graduating from a course at the Moscow Engineering School of Civil Engineers."

set of labor awards of the USSR — three orders of the Red Banner of Labor, two of which are pendant, the third with screw fastening, the fourth — Order of the Badge of Honor. They were handed over to the head of one of the country's railways, who later worked as deputy minister of railways.
