In Dresden (Germany), archaeologists carefully examined the basement of the cafe "Sommer", where they found many items: wine bottles, pots and dishes made from the famous Meissen porcelain. Some of the bottles were damaged due to explosions that sounded on Ferdinand square (Ferdinandplatz) in 1945. In February of that year, British and US aircraft swept over the city, which almost completely destroyed the Central districts with bombs. A cafe located in a building designed in the style of historicism also came under fire.

The basement of the house survived: when the researchers examined the room, they saw in addition to dishes, a device for corking bottles. Looking closely at the labels, archaeologists found out that the wine belongs to the type of Bordeaux. Very close was another treasure trove of artifacts - the ruins of a printing press with printing forms. Further investigation of the ruins will continue until the spring of 2021. After that, the construction of a Parking lot will begin here.
