On September 3, a new coin from the "Star Dreaming" series, dedicated to stars in the Australian aboriginal belief system, was unveiled in Australia. The design of the novelty called "Seven Sisters" was developed by artist Christine Collard (Christine Jugarnu Collard), who depicted seven female figures running after each other. In the upper part, the sky with seven stars is depicted in an unusual way – a composition of dots of different colors and shades. The obverse is decorated with a portrait of Elizabeth II, and the face value is 1 dollar. The coin is made of 999 silver and has a circulation of 5 thousand copies.

The seven Sisters, or Pleiades, are a cluster of stars that can be seen in the constellation Taurus. All the luminaries of the group are so bright that they can be seen with the naked eye, being in a large city. One of the oldest images of the Pleiades was discovered in France, in the Lascaux cave. The Slavs called Seven Sisters Stozharami, and in Japan the cluster is called the word Subaru (on the logo of the Subaru company you can see six stars).
