In the 1940s and 1970s, what is now known in history as the Mexican economic miracle occurred in Mexico. During this period, the country experienced positive changes in the economy, which were facilitated by important reforms carried out in the 1930s. In 1958, Mexico became the leader in Latin America, surpassing other countries in terms of industrial output. In those years, Walter Reed traveled through Mexico, visiting both large cities and small settlements, and was impressed by what he saw. Some of the photos taken during the trip can be seen below.
