Today we offer you to get acquainted with the photos of Lviv taken in 1938 by Henrik Poddembsky. In 1914-1930, Henryk went on a photo-expedition to the Carpathians, Volhynia, Silesia, and Podillia. These images show the Central streets of the city, which, unlike today's ones, look sparsely populated: random residents, trams, roads without a single car – the city looks cozy, picturesque in its own way, and seems wider than it is used to seeing now.
