An ethnographic exhibition in Slavutich showed a collection of traditional clothing that was popular in Ukraine, which was affected by the Chernobyl disaster. The exhibition with the appropriate title "Folk costumes of the affected areas of Polesie" is held these days in the halls of the Museum of local lore. A total of eleven sets are presented, which are distinguished by unique distinctive features of the cut and decorative elements. Items bear the features of local traditions, embodied in the techniques of execution of patterns, their color scheme. For example, for women's clothing from the Ivankovsky district, the technology of linen weaving is typical, where threads of black and white colors alternate, forming rhombuses framed by squares.

The exhibition has become another facet of the implemented project "Magnets of Ukraine: Chernobyl" and is another step in increasing the tourist potential. The exhibition aims to introduce guests to local patterns and sewing techniques on the territory of Polesie, as well as to demonstrate the aesthetic vision of the region's residents. Not spared and hats, which can be traced the evolution of the design.
