Lviv plans to create a Museum of photography

Yesterday, October 2, during a meeting of the Executive Committee, it was decided to create a Museum in Lviv, the main theme of which will be photography. In the coming months, a working group will be formed, its main task will be to develop the concept of the Museum.

The main goal of the Lviv Museum of photography will be to promote photography and get acquainted with old rarities. The team will include activist Roman Metelsky, who together with the developers of the Internet project "Photos of old Lviv" also announced their participation in the creation of the Museum. The main exhibits will be vintage cameras, accessories, albums, negatives and other items related to photography. Employees of the Department of economic policy, together with representatives of district administrations, are searching for buildings with suitable premises that are most suitable for the development of a cultural institution.
