Pierre-Louis Blacas d'aulps, known to many as a diplomat and Minister of the Royal court in France after the restoration of Bourbon power, was interested in antiquities and collected a collection of ancient artifacts. He organized the Egyptian Museum in the Louvre, and gave part of the collected wealth to the count of Chambord, one of the descendants of Louis XV. Some collections are of special value, noted by experts, for example, a collection of Oriental medals. Today, thousands of items that once belonged to the Minister are stored in the British Museum. We present you a part of the collection – vintage rings.
