Mont Saint - Michel is an island where a magnificent structure in the late Gothic style was built in 1520. In the second half there was a prison, but in 1874 the building was recognized as one of the country's historical monuments. Various pagan and Christian legends are associated with the island itself. According to the legends of the druids, it was the ancient Sanctuary of the Dragon. As for the medieval Christians, they believed that the Archangel Michael himself ordered to build a Church on a rock.
