NBU presented a coin issued in honor of the border service

The new coin, prepared by the NBU for release on November 19, is dedicated to the border service. This law enforcement Agency was formed in 2003, when the border troops of Ukraine were finally reorganized into a new structure. In connection with the escalation of the conflict in the border zone, border guards received various armored vehicles in support, which is reflected in the form of drawings on the coin.

The obverse shows the nominal value of the new product - 10 hryvnia. In the center, under the small state Emblem of Ukraine, there is an image of the emblem of the border service. On the left is a sprig of viburnum, on the right - a Laurel branch. In the center of the reverse is a map of Ukraine, on both sides - two parts of the composition symbolizing the activities of border guards on land and at sea: a combat vehicle, an airplane, a helicopter, etc. In the center under the map is a symbolic border post.
