The Islands of Tokelau have issued a new coin of an unusual shape with a face value of 1 dollar. The investment coin is dedicated to the first live performance of Elizabeth II. This event happened long before she became Queen – in 1940. During the battle of Britain, Elizabeth made a radio appearance on the BBC children's Hour, addressing a children's audience. This was a very good start to the social life of the future ruler of the Commonwealth.

The coin is made of 999 silver. Its shape is something like a cross with smooth semicircular lines. The distance between the extreme points is 40 mm. With a circulation of 900 copies. The obverse shows a standard portrait of the Queen, around which is an inscription indicating the year of issue, country, denomination, and other information. On the reverse, you can see Elizabeth II as a young woman, with a microphone in front of her, children behind her, and a color image of the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral. The reverse also features the symbols of New Zealand, Canada, and Australia, with the crown on top.
