A sculpture of the goddess was found among the ruins of the ancient city of Kaneš, which is located next to the modern Turkish village of kültepe. According to archaeologists, it was the largest sculpture of early bronze found on the territory of Anatolia. The artifact reaches a height of 45 cm. Fikri Kulakoğlu from Ankara University, who led the study of the site, said that as soon as the statue is cleaned, it will be taken to the Museum and displayed as an exhibit.

The object is approximately 4.2 thousand years old. All previously found statuettes depict naked women, male idols have not yet been found here. During this year, two dozen artifacts were found here that are of great importance for studying the history of the region. The first archaeological excavations were carried out 72 years ago, and most recently the site was included in the UNESCO world heritage list. Kanish belongs to the oldest cities of Asia Minor, which existed already in the third Millennium BC.Initially, an independent state entity was subordinated to the Akkadian Empire. In the source of the middle of II thousand BC. the ruler of the city of Zipani is listed, who, among the 17 rulers of the small principalities of the region, rebelled against the ruler of Akkad, Naram-sin (2254-2218 BC).
