The landscape of Bokshay Iosif Iosifovich "Shandrovo" has become another interesting lot on the Violiti website. In this work, he allows the viewer not only to be a free observer, but also to experience a range of emotions.

The painting depicts one of the villages of the Transcarpathian region, which is now called Aleksandrovka. Previously it was Shandrovo. In the center of the composition is an old church surrounded by houses. Not the last place is occupied by nature - alive, saturated with different colors.

Iosif Iosifovich was a wide-ranging artist. Especially his talent manifested itself in easel and monumental painting. He was the author of numerous genre compositions, painting of churches in Transcarpathia, Hungary and Slovakia.

The artist created most of the paintings in nature. One of his favorite themes was the Transcarpathian autumn. In his paintings, she appeared not as a sad time, but, rather, as a symbol of generosity, celebration, and productivity. The artist's works were imbued with a major, light and admiration for nature.

The landscapes painted by the artist were not the same in the nature of execution. In the 1920s, they traced chamberliness, intimacy of sound. Later they acquired epic character, some monumentality. And this is even despite the small size of the paintings.

During the 1940-1950s, Iosif Iosifovich reflected in his works the changes that were taking place in his beloved Transcarpathia. It is believed that it was these works that brought the artist fame, titles and state awards.

The exposed lot is a confirmation of the skill, a kind of vision of nature and life of Transcarpathia.
