In Truskavets (Lviv region), they plan to restore the villa "Hoplyana" - a wooden building recognized as an architectural monument of local significance. Today, the building houses the museum of the Ukrainian artist Mikhail Bilas. About UAH 20 million should be allocated for the restoration of the building that won the competition for sectoral support. Part of the finances will be provided by the state budget. Restoration work is expected to begin this year and be completed in 2022.

Villa "Hoplyana" built by architect Jan Simkovich. It is designed in the Art Nouveau style with elements of the Zakopane style. It has a special design: the house is built of hewn logs, connected to each other by means of cuttings. The villa stands on a brick foundation, decorated with rich carvings, similar to those that adorn the Hutsul wooden houses.
