In the Swedish city of Alingsås, more than 50 ornaments from the late Bronze Age were accidentally found. The items date from 750-500 BC. It is one of the largest Late Bronze Age ceremonial offerings in Sweden. The products surprised the scientists with their good quality and condition. Among them were necklaces, rings, hoops, and chains.

The archaeological sites were found by Tomas Karlsson, who explored a section of the forest to make a map. At first, he saw a dozen artifacts between the boulders and thought it was garbage, but after examining the finds more closely, he decided to report them to the authorities. The arrived archaeologists unearthed ancient jewelry, as well as more than three dozen fragments of objects, the purpose of which could not be determined.

Some of the artifacts were left in a pot lying under a boulder. The others were scattered nearby. Archaeologists believe that the jewelry was scattered by wild animals that prowled between the boulders. The burial site is unusual, as sacrifices in this region were usually made near lakes and rivers, and many ritual offerings are excavated in swampy areas. The decorations are similar to early examples of the Hallstatt culture and appear to be a local imitation of Hallstatt patterns.
