In the city of Brody (Lviv region) an exhibition of unique artifacts discovered under the ancient city has been opened. The exhibition entitled "Finds of Underground Fords" was opened on May 20 in the Museum of Local History. All the items that can be seen in the exhibition were discovered during archaeological research on the streets of Krivonos, Armenian, Veselaya, laid in the old districts in the city center. Most of the finds are dated to the XVII-XX centuries.

The archaeological research was carried out by the staff of the Rescue Archaeological Service together with the museum staff. The exhibition includes exhibits discovered during the study of land plots before the construction of new buildings. The presented artifacts give a new idea of what the city was like in ancient times.

Brody is first mentioned in documentary sources in 1084. The settlement was located between the Galician and Volyn principalities. During the XV–XVII centuries, the city changed hands: first it was owned by the nobleman Jan Seninsky, then the voivode of Kamenetsky, Zholkevsky, Konetskolsky, during the latter, based on the project of the French engineer de Beauplan, they built a fortress city.

Rare porcelain products can be found in the section "Ceramics, porcelain, glass" on Violity.
