From 1918 to 1993, the state of Czechoslovakia existed in Europe, the independence of which was declared on October 28, 1918. In 1969, the Czech Republic was declared a federal state consisting of the Czech and Slovak republics. By the 1970s, various industries were successfully operating in the country: chemical, glass, ceramic, automotive, etc. Pencils "Koh-i-Noor", trolleybuses "Škoda" and other products were in demand in the countries of the USSR. In our time, many items of those times are considered collectible and very valuable. Of course, this part of Europe was famous for its architecture both before the formation of Czechoslovakia and after its collapse. The pictures published below were taken in the 1970s.
