In the post-war years, Switzerland developed nuclear weapons, but lack of funds did not allow the project to be completed, and in 1977 the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons was ratified. And yet the operation of a large laboratory of high-energy physics, work in the field of nuclear physics allowed us to build our own nuclear reactor by the 1960s. In the 1950s, foreign workers, especially Italians, came to Switzerland. At the same time, it was a country of ancient cities and amazing diverse landscapes.
