Austria in the photo of 1953

These photos were taken in 1953, shortly before the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Austria in 1955. In 1951, after a rapid rise in prices, financial stability was achieved in the country. At the same time, cultural life in Austria began to revive: cathedrals were restored, theaters were opened, however, some old buildings had to be demolished, as they were badly damaged since the Second World War. Below are photos of the country that introduce us to Austria at that time from different angles.
