The history of Prague is usually counted from the 9th century, when the first documentary mentions of the city appeared. However, there were settlements here before: they developed, increased, united, until a large city was formed.
Prague was the heart of the Bohemian principality, for several centuries it was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Over the past centuries, Prague has turned into a beautiful city with beautiful architecture, a large number of museums, theaters and galleries. This publication features photographs of urban life in the 1980s.
Perhaps you will find the streets of Prague in the works of artists exhibited in the section
Painting and Graphics.
