Non-postage stamps are the collective name of signs that are not related to mail circulation and are intended for other purposes.

For example, for compulsory or voluntary collection of funds from the public and legal entities, advertising of goods and services, control and accounting, and so on.

There are the following types of non-postage stamps:

mark - a sign that has information about its selling or accounting value;

vignette - a sign of a memorable, promotional or agitational appointment, which has no information about its value;

receipt - a sign that confirms the payment of cash amounts for the intended purpose. It is known to use fines when compulsory and voluntary fees are collected;

ticket - a sign that certifies the right of the submitter to receive goods or services. Sometimes this is the name of the duplicate of the parish document, which remains in the back of the book;

label - a sign characterizing the content and cost of packing the goods;

sticker - additional sign of registration or information purpose;

cape - a sign used to seal the envelope valve.
Signs measuring more than 100 mm are called sheets.
