In Kazakhstan, in the Tarbagatay region of the East Kazakhstan region, archaeologists discovered about 3,000 gold articles dating from the 8th-7th centuries BC during the excavation of the Elek Saza burial mound.

It is known that during the study of the Tarbagataysky massif, 200 burial mounds were discovered. During the excavation of the burial of the Elek-2, more than 3,000 gold items were found.

"Among them, there are unique things that are not in any other burial grounds, for example, women's earrings-bells, plates with four rivets, a woman's necklace with precious stones, and among them there are equipment from gold for horses," archaeologists say.
