40-year-old Niva will be put up for auction in London

At the London auction of RM Sotheby's will be presented a lot - a 40-year-old car "Lada Niva". The auction is scheduled for September 5, 2018.

This 1979 car was involved in one of the most difficult races on the planet - the Paris-Dakar rally. 40-year-old "Lada Niva" refers to one of the most collectible models.

This little "Lada" was bought by the driver Francois Zhanson and his son. Then it was specially refitted to participate in the 1981 race.

The Zhanson family owned it until 2009, then the car was purchased by its current owner, who now decided to sell the SUV in its inimitable and original condition.
