Paleontologists have discovered several dozen teeth of a huge shark on the beach in Australia. In total, scientists found more than 40 teeth. They all belong to the extinct shark of Carcharocles angustidens, which lived off the coast of Australia about 25 million years ago.

Shark teeth were notched and reached a length of 7.6 cm. According to paleontologists, the adult specimen reached almost 9 meters, which is twice the size of modern white sharks.

In addition to the teeth of Carcharocles angustidens, the teeth of six-branch sharks were found, which probably ate the corpse of a large shark.
