Studies of bone finds, which were carried out for 6 years, ended with a presentation to the public.
A 90,000-year-old bone knife was found in Morocco in 2012. But all this time he was in the laboratory. The research results were presented in the journal PLoS ONE.
The artifact was discovered by employees of the National Institute of Archeology and Cultural Heritage of Morocco and the University of Oxford in the cave Dar es Soltan 1.
After 6 years of research, scientists have concluded that the knife was made from the bones of a bull. Its age is about 90,000 years.
