The Royal Australian Mint minted the latest coin in the series Earth and Beyond called the Sun.

The first two coins from this series depicted the Earth and the Moon, which are visible from space. The new issue is dedicated to the Sun - the heart of our entire system and the main supplier of energy for all living things.

The peculiarity of this coin is that the Royal Australian Mint for the first time used color on the convex surface of the coin.

On the obverse of a coin made from one ounce of pure silver, there is an image of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by planets in the solar system.

The reverse of the product is decorated with the beautiful Sun of yellow and orange. The convex shape of the coin makes its image rounded and realistic. Along the circumference are the stars, planets, the Earth and the inscriptions “2019 THE EARTH AND BEYOND - THE SUN”, “FIVE DOLLARS” are minted.
