In the past, beer was considered a drink for both adults and children - in contrast to the drinking water of that time, beer, due to boiling, was devoid of pathogens. Due to the high content of calories, beer was an additional food product, in Germany and today beer is called “liquid bread”.
The oldest brewery in the world is the German brewery in the city of Freising in Bavaria. His story begins from 1040-1050 year.
According to the owners of the атatec brewery in the Czech Republic, they can prove that this beer brewery was paid for the first time in 1004.
As for archaeological research, Chinese experts managed to find in the province of Shaanxi a long-standing brewery with ingredients for making beer. This finding, in their opinion, is 5000 years old.
