In Volyn explore the remains of Vsevolozhsk

Archaeologists from the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine explored the area in the Volyn region near the village of Litovezh, and found the remains of fortifications. Strengthening the link with the medieval city of Vsevolozhsk. As the results of excavations show, the settlement was very difficult to plan. Part of the shaft was excavated in the Northern part, where the remains of the Church are now located.

There were no wooden structures inside the rampart. The earth is filled in the period of the Late middle Ages. In the trench dug by researchers traces of burials dated XIV–XX centuries were found. Among the items found metal household items and pieces of ceramics.
