The ornament of the metro station "Golden gate", which managed to become an object of cultural heritage, now adorns the stamp. On November 6 Ukrposhta presented a new product that will interest philatelists. The stamp depicts the Archangel Michael, one of the symbols of Kiev, as well as ornaments that can be seen in the Kiev subway. Circulation of new items amounted to 130 thousand copies, the nominal value of the brand - 8 hryvnia.
The opening of the Kiev metro took place on November 6, 1960. One of the stations, "Arsenalna", is the deepest in the world - the distance between the platform and the surface is 105.5 m. and the station "Golden gate" has many times got into the ratings of the most beautiful metro stations in the world.
