A coin with rats will be minted in Belarus by 2020

The new coin was issued by the Bank of Belarus. The issue is dedicated to the year of the Rat, which will come in six weeks. The 20-ruble coin is part of the "Chinese calendar" series and is made of 925 sterling silver. The weight of the specimen is 33.63 grams, and its diameter is 38.61 mm.

The obverse is decorated with the image of the moon, sun and clock elements, the coat of arms of the country is located on top, and the nominal value and year of issue are indicated in a circle. On the reverse side is a Crescent moon and a Chinese character that can be translated as "rat". The Crescent is surrounded by small animals holding pieces of cheese in their paws. The circulation of the coin is 999 copies.
