On Violity sold interesting lot that will interest lovers of Oriental coins. 500 piastres of the late Ottoman period (1912) - a copy minted from 917 gold. The weight of the coin is 36 grams. During the period of coin production, the Balkan wars took place. Large financial resources were required for the maintenance of the army and military purchases, and new gold coins added to the Treasury of the time. Since the value of gold does not fall, such lots are a great way to invest. Buying several of these copies will be a profitable investment: some coins will settle in the collection, others can be sold soon when they rise in price.

The owner of this lot put up a coin with a starting price of 1000 UAH. During the auction, the price rose to 39,365 hryvnia, and it grew quite quickly – 38 bids were made.
