Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, located in the Northern part of the island. The city is the Central part of the Taipei-Keelung district, which includes the cities of New Taipei and Keelung. Taipei is the political, economic, educational and cultural center of the province of China. Railway lines, highways, airports - all this connects the city with the rest of the island. Cultural and architectural attractions include Chiang Kai - shek Memorial Hall, Dalongdong Baoan Temple, national Palace Museum, and Taipei Guest House. Tourists are familiar with such natural objects as a Park, Yangmingshan (Yangmingshan), hot springs, etc. These photos were taken in the late 70-ies.
