New Orleans is the largest city in the state of Louisiana, which is located on the banks of the Mississippi river. New Orleans is a highly developed economic and commercial center thanks to a large port that has access to the Gulf of Mexico. Unique dialect, special music, Creole cuisine, annual festivals - thanks to all this, coming to the city turns into an unforgettable adventure. The historical center is the French quarter, which is famous for its architecture in the Spanish and French styles. The photos below were taken by William M. Green Sr. in 1958.
