The order of Nevsky is one of the awards, recently purchased at auction Violity. The cost of the lot was 42,600 hryvnia. During the auction, which was followed by more than a hundred people, made 81 bids. A fine specimen, made of silver and Melchior, went to the new owner at the end of March.

This order has been awarded since 1942, with a total of 42,165 awards. The sketch of the portrait of Alexander Nevsky depicted on the award was designed by Igor Telyatnikov, senior architect of the Centervoenproject Institute. Most orders were awarded during the Second world war. In addition, some of the awards were awarded after the uprising in Hungary in 1956. Soviet stamps of several denominations were issued with the image of the order of Nevsky. The sold copy contains the number 48767.
