As part of the "Mandala Art" numismatic series, Fiji has issued a new coin with a Persian mandala. In the center of the coin is a round white Jasper-it stands out due to the volume of the surface. The nominal value of the new product is 10 dollars, it is made of 999 silver, the circulation is only 500 copies. This is the sixth coin in the series (previously issued coins contain patterns in Gothic, Finnish, Moorish, and other styles). Each copy is provided in a minimalistic black box.

Mandala - like patterns are found in different cultures. From Sanskrit, this word is translated as a circle. The image is a closed geometric system with elements equidistant from the center. In Eastern esoteric practices, the image is interpreted as a model of the world, a map of the universe. The mandala symbolizes unity and harmony, but individual drawings may have a special meaning.
