Gold and silver griffins: Niue has introduced a new coin

The Czech mint produced another coin for Niue, dedicating it to the mythical creature Gryphon, which has the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. Previous coins in the Mythical Creatures series featured a dragon and a Phoenix. The new product is available in two versions – silver and gold. The circulation of the 999 silver coin is 1 thousand copies, the nominal value is 2 new Zealand dollars. Gold coins with a face value of 5 new Zealand dollars less – only 500 copies.
