An album of Oscar Wilde with of his interests, habits and beliefs has been put up for sale at Sotheby's, the auction will end on August 4. Experts estimate the lot at 40-60 thousand pounds. Previously, the album was stored in the collection of actor Steven Berkoff.

The album called "Mental Photographs" is a collection of 40 questions and answers. Entries are dated 1877, signed with the full name of the future writer - Oscar Fingal O'flahertie Wills Wilde. At the time, 23-year-old Wilde was studying at the University of Oxford. The questionnaire contains 39 responses out of 40. The statements contain thoughts about the meaning of life, happiness, and power. In Wilde's responses, there is an enthusiasm characteristic of his work.
