A stamp dedicated to the characters of the Ukrainian cartoon "Mavka. Forest song"

The postal service introduced a stamp with the characters of the animated film "Mavka. Forest song", based on the drama extravaganza written by the poet Lesya Ukrainka. Next year will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian writer and translator. Thus, attention is simultaneously paid to two aspects: the birth of an outstanding personality and the popularization of domestic cartoons.

The development of the brand with the image of the main characters, Mavka and Lukash, as well as a fairy - tale creature similar to a cat, took place with the support of the FILM UA Group. The new product has a circulation of 100 thousand copies. The stamp shows the Latin letter V, which corresponds to the cost of 9 UAH. These stamps can be used for sending letters across the territory of Ukraine, if their weight does not exceed 50 g. The gift list includes 9 stamps. The stamp has the form of a rune, which has a magical meaning - it unites the four elements of the world. Similar stamps dedicated to Ukrainian cinema have been presented over the past few years, the last one was printed for the release of the film "Zakhar Berkut".
