The second world left behind a rich legacy of military equipment. Including under water. And some are only 70 years later. It happened with this underwater cemetery of aircraft.
The author of this find was the American photographer Brandi Muller off the coast of the Marshall Islands in the South Pacific. In total, she managed to find almost 150 aircraft. Surprisingly, some of them were completely intact.
As it turned out, these planes were dropped from aircraft carriers in August 1945, after the successful US Pacific campaign.
