On the territory of the medieval Austrian castle Lengberg, which is located in East Tyrol, was found ancient lingerie.

During the repair of the castle, the floor was removed and the architects discovered the details of the female restroom that they wore 500 years ago.

Beatrix Nutz from the University of Innsbruck, who discovered rare artifacts for science, says that she faced distrust about her discovery, but radiocarbon analysis was done and the authenticity of the 15th century linen was unmistakable. The linen was sewn from 1440 to 1485.

All were found about 2700 fragments of medieval textiles. Things were wrapped in a blanket. According to historians, the discovery is of great value for the history of women's costume.
