Nearly 9 years ago, a treasure was discovered in Huaxiang County, central Shaanxi Province. Its value in size is more than 3 tons of antique coins.

While digging the foundation pit for the school in Huaxiang County, central Shaanxi province, workers stumbled upon the coins of the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279). But the hieroglyphs depicted on the coins indicate a minting period - 1102 - 1106.

The total number of coins is more than 200,000 pieces, which by weight exceeded 3 tons. They were two meters wide and three meters high.

Despite the fact that after their “burial” about 900 years passed, the coppers were well preserved. According to experts, 20 varieties of Sung coins were found, most of which date back to the reign of Emperor Weizong (1082 - 1135).

According to scientists, such a number of coins could be hidden by a rich family during hostilities in this relatively prosperous region. But this is only an assumption.
