Finding a pristine Soviet motorcycle is a huge fortune. As a rule, the owners of such vehicles sometimes did not even unpack them, leaving them in the factory box. As for this instance, it was fully prepared for operation.

It is impossible to say unequivocally that Izh Jupiter-5 is a classic. It is too early to rank among her. Quite a lot of such motorcycles have been produced, so even today you can meet sellers of "Izhi" who offer goods in good condition.

This copy was released in 1990. He stood all the time in the garage, never started and was not registered. It is fully equipped with all necessary tools. As for the accompanying literature, it, unfortunately, has not been preserved.

The Jupiter-5 model (6.113) got on the conveyor of the Izhevsk Motor Plant in 1985. Compared with the previous Jupiter-4 model, the power of the 350 cc 2-cylinder two-stroke air-cooled motor was reduced from 28 to 24 hp, but the maximum torque, on the contrary, increased slightly and was achieved at lower speeds.

The fins of the cylinders and heads, the fastening of the exhaust pipes to the cylinders (became flanged) have changed. An “emergency start” button appeared, which closes the generator field winding to ground, bypassing the voltage regulator, which facilitates starting with a discharged battery.

The dry weight of the motorcycle is 160 kg, while the maximum speed of Jupiter-5 reaches 125 km / h. If you believe the passport data, the control fuel consumption is 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
