In the Western part of Iran, near Sarpol-e-Zahab were investigated the remains of the wall. Length ruins is 115 km. Along the entire structure discovered pottery, which indicate that the facility was built in the period from IV century BC to VI century ad, However, about the purpose of the building and the builders are unknown to scientists.

Iranian archaeologists have established that the construction took about 1 million cubic meters of stone. The construction of the wall was carried out with the help of local materials, which were extracted by workers. The cobblestones were connected by means of a plaster solution. Despite the ignorance of scientists, local residents have long known about this object and gave it the name "Gabriel's wall". The only assumption about the purpose of the wall-marking the boundaries between the ancient kingdoms.
