While studying a tomb in the city Of Sanmenxia in China, researchers discovered a bronze jug that still contains liquid. The age of the artifact is more than 2 thousand years. The volume of the contents is 3000 ml of light brown substance. The liquid was not immediately identified, so it was sent to Beijing for analysis.

According to scientists, the object depicts a Swan bird with a long beak. It is similar to those swans that live in local parks. Probably, the master spent a lot of time watching birds to make the jug look realistic. In addition, iron swords, a helmet and a cauldron were found in the tomb. The shape and construction of the burial site suggest that it was built in the third century BC and belonged to a low-ranking official.
