Are you struggling to focus on work? Every little thing distracts you when you are trying to be productive? Then you just need the so-called "Isolator".

This is a quaint (and rather creepy) helmet, created in 1925 by Hugo Gernsbeck (1894 - 1967), an American inventor, writer, editor and publisher of magazines.

Gernsback claimed that the helmet reduced noise to 95%, and tiny glass holes guaranteed almost complete isolation from the outside world. The only drawback of the "Insulator", of course, was that the person in it looked absolutely ridiculous.

I would like to note that if such an anti-distracting helmet was worn by one of the employees of some modern office, then surely all its neighbors in the cabinet would certainly not have been up to the job.
