“Superheroes often live anonymous lives, but these portraits create a tribute to their narcissism. Images due to temporal displacement allow us to see unexpected melancholy on the faces of those who are considered invincible,” says the author.

In his project "Super Flemish" modern superheroes were depicted in the style of works by painters of the 17th century. The series features almost 40 photographs of characters from Star Wars, Superman, X-Men, Iron Man and more.
