Provocative vases with glasses

The use of old glasses banal. So thought the designer Ron Arad and created his provocative collection of vases. Why he considered it just that, it is not clear to everyone.

His vases are a combination of glass and metal. At first he planned to wear real glasses on a vase, but then he still leaned towards the metal. They became the main shaping element.

The interaction and contrast of these materials - glass and metal - gives the objects interesting shapes. Blowing glass through a metal frame, a stop, occurs until it squeezes it like a tight belt. It is at this moment that the whole expression of the vase forms, harmoniously combining spontaneity and delicacy.

The collection of three vases is devoid of all stereotypes and stylizations. The creativity of the artist combined with technical precision and skillful craftsmanship of a glassblower.
