Who will play with such dolls?

The artist Freya Jobbins collects extremely unusual sculptures from parts of old dolls. Plastic parts help to create new images that even frighten many.

Those who look at them are divided into two groups: some think that they are funny, others that they are awesome. But despite this, it is difficult to deny that the master has invested a lot of work in them. After all, on so easy to create an anatomically correct shape of the face and pick up a color to it.

“Due to our society’s excessive spending on children's plastic toys, especially dolls, the materials for my sculptures are very accessible,” explains the author of the portraits.

The artist's work was influenced by the work of the Italian artist Gisepppe Archimboldo (Guiseppe Archimboldo), known for his portraits of fruits and vegetables, as well as the giant sculptures of Ron Mueck.
