Rococo-style entrance: an amazing transformation invented by a Kiev pensioner

For 15 years, the Kiev pensioner tried to make his porch more beautiful. And not only in words, but also in deeds. He managed to decorate the three staircases of his 9-storey building on Raduzhnaya Street. Part of the entrance acquired a rococo style palace view.

For 15 years, the old shabby walls, ceilings and stairs began to resemble a real palace. Neighbors, as well as casual witnesses of all this magnificence, began to call it “Hermitage”, “Versailles” or simply “Museum”.

Vladimir Chaika adorned with golden stucco, medieval copies of paintings and mirrors - the main features of Rococo, walls, ceilings and even garbage disposal.

“Many years ago, I suggested to my neighbors, through joint efforts, to rebuild our hallway, which was in very poor condition. But then my idea was not accepted,” the master recalls.

At one time he was an employee of the “Underground Railway Systems”. Ordinary workers in the repair depot. There, Vladimir received basic working knowledge, and his colleague dedicated him to the elements of stucco work. Their master and applied in practice.
